Location: Remote from Europe or US east coast.

Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 plus stock options (it’s a range because we use a formula to determine exact pay based on location and level)

What you'll be doing: 

You will be joining our Frontend team, who are responsible for all TypeScript at Xata:

• App website (app.xata.io)
• Open Source CLI & SDK (https://github.com/xataio/client-ts)
• Marketing website (xata.io, mostly owned by our design team)

We’re a team of ‘Fullstack’ engineers who code both frontend React & server side Node.

Our tech stack:

• React with Next.js
• Chakra UI
• Deployed to Vercel
• pnpm, turbo, react-query, zod, prettier, eslint, github actions…

Xata’s designers write React code and contribute PRs / directly to our feature branches. This allows us to focus on building functionality and code quality.

We’re a small team, and you’ll work on features and bug fixes in any part of the product we’re responsible for. Examples of work our team has done:

About you:

We’re looking for {senior,staff} engineers who can hit the ground running and are experienced in: 

• TypeScript
• React
• Server side Node experience.
• Experience using an SQL database (so you understand our product)
• Bonus: experience with / interest in similar cloud databases
